Low Calorie Ground Chuck Dinner

What You Need..
1 Lb. lean Ground Chuck
4-5 Whole Carrots
1 Medium Onion
1 tsp. chopped garlic
2 sticks celery
1 cup fresh mushrooms sliced
1 TBS. Olive Oil
1/2 tsp. salt substitute
1/2 tsp. each cumin, basil, pepper,
1 tsp. brown sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tsp. no sodium beef bullion (Wylers or Herb Ox)
1 tsp. corn Starch
Pre heat a deep pan with olive oil. Add the carrots, celery, garlic and mushrooms. Cook on a medium heat until onions have caramelized and carrots are just starting to soften. Add ground chuck in about 1 inch chunks. When ground meat6 has started to brown, pour off grease. Mix the beef bullion with the water and add to mixture. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for about 10- 15 minutes covered. Mix corn starch with a couple tablespoons of cold water and stir into mixture. Simmer until the gravy thickens a bit. Serve alone, over rice or over noodles remembering that they each add calories and fat.
Very Low Sodium alone.
